Maureen Campbell - Author of African Dawn
Retired amidst the untamed, natural splendor of Salt Rock, KwaZulu-Natal, and situated alongside the balmy Indian Ocean, Maureen Campbell is an enthusiastic reader, emerging writer, and acclaimed poet. With a background in Art Theory and creative writing, she actively participates in a local writing circle to keep her writing skills finely honed, primarily focusing on short stories and poems. In 2015, she garnered the prestigious Hilde Slinger Poetry Award. Amid her extensive reading, she relishes the challenge of crafting her own short stories and is progressively delving into the realm of longer narratives.
