Light and enjoyable holiday read
A great holiday read, escape to the African Veld, and have a quick trip to London too…. romance, family saga and fun.
African Dawn is a switch off, put your feet up and relax story that flows easily.
Took your book down to the coast and started turning the pages.
Truthfully I did not know what to expect. You created strong characters. Characters that the reader cared about. Very descriptive. I found your book captivating and thought provoking. I was very sad that Stefan died, but Ivy did not deserve such a good man.
Captivating from start to finish!
African Dawn is an exceptional masterpiece that I could not put down. The writer offers readers an unforgettable journey through the story and deeply engaging characters. This book is a must-read for everyone.
I highly recommend it.
Immersive and evocative, this book transports readers to the captivating landscapes of South Africa, weaving a tapestry of rich culture and compelling narratives. Great storytelling, captivating the reader!
African Dawn

I will be including this novel into our book club
It takes bravery, courage and a great deal of determination to get a novel published. African Dawn by Maureen Campbell, who incidentally lived in the small rural town of Eshowe in KwaZulu-Natal where I live, is a testament to Maureen’s character and perseverance. The novel is set in both London and South Africa. Maureen manages to combine fashion, travel, wildlife safaris, family intrigue and romance in her debut novel. The story revolves around a well-kept family secret that is revealed quite dramatically towards the end of the novel. The story flows well and keeps the reader’s interest throughout. I will be including this novel into our book club so that the circle of readers will be expanded. Congratulations Mrs Maureen Campbell, Eshowe is extremely proud of you.
